Based on the classic Hasbro naval combat game, Battleship is the story of an international fleet of ships who come across an alien armada whilst on a Naval war games exercise. An intense battle ensues over sea, land and air. What do they aliens - known as 'The Regents' - want?I think its the trend now is to make bigger special effect laden movies. In the midst of doing so plausibility and fluidity of a movie is often neglected. There is not much of a difference for a big budget movie such as this.Taylor Kitsch as the rebel in this movie and in entrusted with leading the naval fleet after his older brother played by Alexander Skarsgard died while trying to destroy the mother alien ship.
The movie is loud and brash and with some serious issue of laughable scenarios. I will not spoil the movie for you but if you go watched it you will roll your eye quite a few times.
The movie is loud and brash, never holds back when it comes to entertaining movie goers. A typical summer pop corn movie.
